American Dissident Voices Broadcast of March 17, 2007 How It All Fits Together Welcome back to American Dissident Voices. I'm your host, National Alliance Chairman Erich Gliebe. On this program last week, we discussed the latent power and energy that reside in the White masses. We noted that, in many cases, the White masses WANT to do the right thing, and they are willing to sacrifice much -- even their lives -- if they perceive that sacrifice as promoting a goal they have adopted as their own. We gave numerous instances to support this contention, the most striking examples being those in wartime. Simply put, on both sides of any conflict, the broad masses of every nation are often willing to risk all in the pursuit of their nation's victory in war. Historically, the White masses of every nation have been no exception to this trend, especially if the war has been popularly viewed as a matter of survival or as necessary to defend the national honor. The problem, as I mentioned last week, is that everything hinges on the popular mindset: that is, what the broad masses are thinking, how they view the world, the issues in question, and so forth. In order to set the masses in motion in a particular direction, one must capture their imaginations and give them a vision of a better future. This means that whoever controls the flow of information has the best chance to harness the might of the masses in his favor. In the United States, from the beginning of the 20th Century down to the present day, it has been the Jewish establishment that has wielded the biggest stick in the media world. And that power has exerted itself on the White masses over and over, from driving them to participate in both world wars to accepting the Civil Rights movement, and from blindly supporting Israel to believing that the interracial family is fashionable and even admirable. Had principled White men with a sense of history and destiny been in full control of the media during those eras, the White masses of the United States would have made much different -- and much better -- decisions. Since the inception of the National Alliance back in the early 1970s, we have followed a policy of trying to recruit the minority of White men and women of whatever social stratum who were willing to take an active role in freeing our people from the chains that bind them. This policy was adopted by our founder, the late Dr. William Pierce, based on the observation that all of the new ideas -- and most of the work in implementing them -- come from a minority of people. This is widely known as the "80/20 Rule": 80% of the work is done by 20% of the people and -- as a corollary to that -- the other 20% of the work is done by 80% of the people. The 80/20 Rule (some now call it the 90/10 Rule) is especially true when it comes to organizing new ideas and then putting them into practice. For example, one might disagree with me and argue that the 80/20 Rule doesn't apply to Ford Motor Company, because the work done in the making of Ford cars and trucks is roughly equally shared by all of the workers in the factories. That claim might be true in terms of the day-to-day maintenance of the corporation, but there can be no doubt that any program that requires that Ford Motor Company venture into NEW territory... requires a minority. When Henry Ford decided to go into the business of mass-producing motor cars, it was a minority decision; namely, his. When he bought the land, invested in the construction of the factories, and implemented his division-of-labor ideas... those were all minority decisions. It took the will and guidance of a minority -- in many cases, just Ford himself -- to give those ideas concrete form. Even today, when something new is to be done at Ford Motor Company, it is the minority that takes the initiative and ultimately should shoulder the responsibility. A minority does the market research to find out what consumers are wanting and what the problems are with the existing products. A minority does the engineering required to create the new product lines or to remedy drawbacks on the existing vehicles. A minority figures out how the new vehicle line will be tied into the existing lines of production: what needs to be added or removed, what assembly-line steps must be inserted and where, what additional mechanized equipment is needed, and how to minimize the related costs. Only when all of that has been decided upon are the legions of workers on the line allowed to do their part in the carrying out of the plan; namely, following the prescribed procedures to build Ford vehicles. Now, I am not for one minute suggesting that the labor and dedication of the assembly-line workers at Ford Motor Company isn't important to the well-being of the company. Nor am I suggesting that the assembly-line workers only do 20% of what happens at Ford. And finally, I am also NOT suggesting that such work is beneath -- or less worthy -- than any other type of work. Quite to the contrary. After my own schooling, I worked as a tool-and-die maker for a number of years, and I know better than most about what it means to use one's hands and one's brain in conjunction with the available technology to produce a desired product. In fact, I believe that there are a number of real benefits to such work -- such as the ability to point to a tangible, finished product at the end of a day -- that can't be found in office jobs in which people talk on the phone or push paper all day and have nothing concrete to point to upon leaving. Rarely can such people hold something up and say, "See? I made THAT today." Historically, the White masses have had jobs that have allowed people to point to something tangible at the end of the day. But since the Industrial Revolution and especially for the last 50 years, many people have held jobs that are increasingly abstract; information and paper are shuffled from Point A to Point B, but there is no physical object that -- at a glance -- would make obvious the effort and skill (or the lack thereof) of the worker. Here in the U.S., the increasing numbers of office professionals who are getting involved in hands-on hobbies such as woodworking, sewing, and other crafts only serves as evidence of the idea that people want to be able to use both their minds and their hands to create something tangible. So, manual labor is just as honorable as any other form of labor. But it is nonetheless clear that -- when major changes of any type are needed -- it is a minority that sets the pace. The White race needs some profound and lasting changes to be made, and that's why the National Alliance is targeting the minority of White men and women of good will who are willing to actively participate in our program to liberate and renew our race. If you consider yourself a part of that dedicated minority -- no matter if your vocation is a blue-collar or white-collar one -- you need to contact us. We can help you contribute to Our Cause in whatever capacity fits you best. The realization of our goal of a White racial homeland depends on people like you coming forward. So you might wonder, if the National Alliance is looking for the minority of movers and shakers in the White population, why it is that we use as many resources as we have available in reaching out in every way to all kinds of Whites all over the world. Our media that we use for that purpose are many. We have this outreach program. We have our Internet sites. We have a record company and a book business. We publish and sell periodicals -- Free Speech, National Vanguard magazine, and Resistance magazine. All of these media target audiences of varying composition, not just an audience of white-collar, ivory-tower types... which you might think we'd focus on because of our emphasis on the minority and on leadership. No, we target everybody: every White person in the world. We want every White to know who we are and what we stand for. There are a couple of reasons we do this. The main reason is that experience has shown that those who comprise a dedicated and creative minority don't always come from the upper and upper-middle classes, the traditional "leadership" classes. Countless times in the long and glorious history of our race, great men and women have sprung up from working-class parents and humble beginnings. Ludwig von Beethoven -- one of the greatest composers we've ever produced -- lived a meager existence almost his entire life. Michael Faraday, the brilliant Englishman who contributed so much to the theories behind electromagnetism, had little education and was on his way to becoming a bookbinder when he suddenly uncovered his gift for conceptualizing electric fields in a way that no one else ever had. Greatness has been found in every class in every era of the long history of our people. But the members of the National Alliance don't have to create sublime art or scientific theories. They don't have to advance human knowledge in any way at all. The only thing they need to be able to do is to get things done. And that's another trait that the best Whites in all socio-economic classes have: the drive to accomplish, the drive to finish, and the satisfaction of knowing that you are responsible for something having taken place. Without you, it wouldn't have gotten done, and with you... it did. Some of the best and most productive members of the National Alliance are the ones who have a no-nonsense, working-class mentality about getting things done. So we are definitely looking for the White minority, and we're finding it up and down the economic scale. We're finding it in office buildings, in universities, and in the fields and factories. We're finding it in big cities, in smaller towns, and in rural communities. And the more our media continue to grow, the more and more of this idealistic White vanguard we find. It's our job, as an organization, to take all of this outstanding human material and get it to act in concert, to get it to collectively exert influence far in excess of its numbers. That's the main mission of the Alliance right now: to find the able and willing White minority and to channel that minority's power and influence in ways that will bring about the sweeping changes in society that we desire. But that's not the only reason we have a broad outreach program, one that tries to reach every single White person in the entire world on a regular basis. The other reason is that we want to reach the White masses, to begin to reshape their thinking in the right direction so that when push comes to shove, they will choose the worldview of progressive White racialism rather than the now-prevailing worldview of destructive Jewish materialism and multiracialism. It might seem contradictory that we are professing to reach both the White minority AND the White masses at the same time. But there is really no contradiction. We want the White minority because we need its organizational ability and its indefatigable toughness. But we want the masses because they will be the primary recipients of the benefits of our White racial homeland, and they also have the latent strength -- as we discussed last week -- to help us secure and protect that homeland. The predicament for the White masses now is similar to that of a junior or senior in high school who is planning on attending college. Choosing a college isn't a snap decision; one has to consider one's desired field of study, the programs offered by each university, expected costs, and location. The search begins months or years before the final decision is made, and only after careful consideration of all of the factors involved does a student and his or her family decide which university will suit the student best. Universities know this, and they spend money, time, and manpower in getting the word out to eligible students. They know that a student won't even consider a college that he doesn't know something about. On the other hand, the more a student knows about a college and the various benefits it provides, the more likely he is to make a commitment to that school. Candidates for political office follow the same logic in trying to get elected; campaign managers work long and hard trying to get name recognition for their candidates among the potential voters. We in the National Alliance hope at some point in the near future to be in the position to force the White masses to make a choice, similar to the prospective college student I mentioned above. That choice will be between the current worldview and ours. And to even have a chance for those masses to choose us, we have to get the word out about who we are and what we want. We don't want a commitment right now, but we will someday. That's not something I'm worrying about right now, because historically the masses haven't acted until they absolutely MUST, but we want them to be ready to make the right choice when the time comes. Now, the National Alliance is not a political party. We don't put any faith in a mass democracy that is controlled by the Jewish media. We aren't in the midst of a popularity contest. We don't pull any punches about what our long-term goals are. We don't curry anybody's favor, and we don't sacrifice any of our principles for a short-term benefit. We'll gladly take one member of the active and motivated White minority over a thousand more-or-less inert members of the mass. We say what we believe is the truth, and if someone doesn't like it... oh, well. But, on the other hand, we're fighting to save the entire race, not just the minority. Our race is the remarkable entity that it is because of ALL of its members. Every Roman or Visigoth -- not just the captains and commanders -- who fought Attila's Huns in 451 A.D. at the Battle of Chalons earned an honored place in the history of our race. Every Germanic Frank under Charles Martel who fought the Moors at the Battle of Tours in 732 A.D. earned an honored place in the history of our race. Every White laborer and craftsman who poured his soul into the cathedrals of Western Europe that took hundreds of years to complete earned an honored place in the history of our race. And that pattern of the entire body of our people working as one has been repeated thousands of times. The creative minority AND the unyielding masses together do great things that change the course of history. Neither the White minority nor the White masses can survive by itself. In the program of the National Alliance, we are trying to recruit and train the minority so that we can channel the power of the White masses into something constructive when they are ready for it. And then together we'll smash this rotten System that's based on the Law of Money and create a new society built on the Law of Nature. We in the National Alliance have been accused of advocating a sequence of events that will simply take advantage of the strength of the masses, events that will ultimately empower the minority and enslave the masses. Those accusations stem from "minority vs. masses" talk such as we've had here today, as well as from the Alliance's commitment to the leadership principle and to our vehement opposition to mass democracy. There is no doubt that we hope to someday harness the power of the masses. Our race cannot survive without the masses, but neither can it survive without disciplined leadership such as we in the National Alliance are trying to provide. But to say that we'll take advantage of the masses for our own gain is totally incorrect. In our plan -- which will result in a White homeland and a White government -- all Whites will gain. Those of us who are long-term thinkers will appreciate the progressive, new social system and its values. We'll look with joy upon a society in which dead-end, short-term concerns will give way to long-term concerns, which in turn will dictate what new short-term actions we'll take. It will be the greatest spiritual victory EVER in the entire history of our race. But the White masses will reap untold benefits, too. They might not be concerned about long-term vision and racialist values like we are, but they definitely have needs and wants. The environment will be cleaner. The all-White streets will be safer. The all-White schools will be better. Pride and quality will replace greed and quantity in the all-White workplaces. The all-White neighborhoods will become more family-like, more like tiny communities within a larger one. The all-White music and art will embody order and beauty and discipline rather than today's art of chaos and ugliness and noise. The all-White economy will be stable; there won't be any shipping of jobs to Mexico or the East Indies. Truly, the spirit of optimism and hope will be infectious in that new White world, for the minority and the masses both. It's something to look forward to, but we've got a lot of work ahead of us yet. Join us and help us save the race... all of it.
