The Folk and our Future

Hello and welcome to American Dissident Voices, I'm Shaun Walker.

Today I would like to discuss National Alliance ideology. The
most important aspect of National Alliance ideology is the
concept of the folk. First, I would like to take a few minutes
and explain this word. This is a very important word, and every
member of the National Alliance and all our White men and women
around the world who are a part of our growing racial renaissance
need to understand this word. We then need to spend a great deal
of time studying the concepts around a folk, and then we must
spend the rest of our lives to develop and advance our folk.

First, let me say, that even within American academia, the
bubble-headed liberals that rule the roost don't have any idea
that the concept of a folk exists. While I was going to the
university in San Diego, I just happened to see a course called
"Fascism and Nazism," and with my minor being history, this
worked out perfect. But, I was shocked out how truly pointless
this course was. People that were anti-Nazi or anti-fascist wrote
every book required and recommended for this class. The teacher,
who spoke perfect German, told the class that folk meant race. I
interrupted her and asked her to clarify. The German word "Rasse"
means race. She conceded that it did and then offered the German
word for folk as Volk. A student asked what the word "Volk" meant
and the teacher responded that "Volk" meant people. So, I
interrupted and asked was not the word "Leute" the correct German
word for people? She was honest, yet perplexed by me. She
conceded that "Leute" was the correct word for people in German,
but she was drawing a blank. In all the courses and all the study
that this history professor had taken up to that point -- to be
qualified to teach a course on this subject -- she had never
understood the word folk.

She openly told me that she considered Nazism and Fascism to be
the twin evils of the world, so I didn't expect academic
integrity. But, after all the books she read, she had never come
across anything that stressed the importance of this word.

Now, the Nazis did not invent this word and certainly weren't the
first to push this concept. This is an ancient concept that
virtually all the White societies have had. It was a central part
of virtually all social and spiritual aspects of societies. The
concept of folk is one of, if not the most important, allies that
the young and outspoken theologian Martin Luther had on his side.

When Martin Luther started to question the excesses and
inconsistencies of the Catholic Church, he could have easily been
thrown to the Catholic authorities and be done with. But, Martin
Luther was brilliant and taped into the German folk consciousness
and rallied many of the Germans around their folkish identity.
And folk is a very important and powerful force. The German
lead-Protestant reformation was just as much as a folkish
identity struggle as it was a religious revolt.

So, what is a folk? I don't mean for this to come across like a
riddle in one of Tolkein's book. But, this concept has to be
outlined with many examples before the pattern starts to emerge.

Just this past week, we had a TV crew up at the National Office
here in West Virginia. This is the fifth news crew this year and
they all have very similar questions. One question is this: "What
type of society do we want?" Now the obvious answer includes an
all-White society. But, we were basically a White society in
1950. Obviously, as a White society we were missing something for
this disaster to unfold upon us as it did. And what we were
missing was a folk consciousness. We had become thoroughly
consumerized. Even though we had the biggest economy in the
world, about 50% of the global market, we were a people without
social glue. We were a race that had lost sight of our past and
our future. We became a selfish race that lived only for today
and ourselves. We lost contact with our folk. And in such a
selfish, divided, soulless state, we were easy pickings. The Jews
tore us apart. But, I'm digressing from the TV news crew that
came to film us last week.

This TV news crew asked what we wanted for White people. I told
them a folk nation here in America and in every other White
country. These reporters were from the United Kingdom, but knew
no more of the word folk than the average American. So, I tried
to describe a folk to them.

First a folk has to be a people of one race and have a common
bond. White Americans in Alabama and Mississippi share a Southern
bond that once was folkish and the Southern bond that still
exists today is the closest thing to a folk in America on a large
scale. The Amish and Mennonite communities are much more folkish,
but are very small groups. These British reporters wanted to know
why a common bond and heritage were necessary. They wanted an
example of how this was an improvement. I used Iceland as my
example.

In Iceland, a small country of less than 300,000 people, whose
population can all trace their bloodlines back to the Sagas a
thousand years ago, a unique country in that literary regard,
there is a folk consciousness, yet a dying one.  It is not dying
because of industrialization, but because of the foreign
propaganda that is poisoning the minds of the Icelandic people.
But, Iceland has many examples of a folk nation. For one, there
is no ethnic or racial conflict that exists. They certainly had
family feuds throughout history, but they were a tough, violent
people that felt this was good to keep them strong. But, as each
of these families and clans formed up the modern nation of
Iceland today, their national identity became embedded around
their folk.

So, how is this different than America? For one thing, the nation
of Iceland hasn't invented the day care center. They don't have
babysitters. What they do in Iceland with their kids when they
are too young to walk is keep them in a bassinet or in a baby
buggy. They will leave them anywhere. You can walk through a park
and see one or several babies sitting alone on a bench with no
adult around. The parents will go and visit a neighbor and park
the baby buggy outside. If it is snowing or windy, they have very
well insulted baby buggies. I've literally walked around
Reykjavik for several hours and walked past a dozen unattended
babies left in such a manner. No one there gives it a second
thought. The idea of someone harming or stealing the babies is
such a foreign, abhorrent anti-folkish idea, that they don't
think such things. This isn't just in some remote area where the
mothers or fathers think no one will walk and see the babies. No,
it is everywhere.

It happens in the main shopping areas, with a high volume of
traffic, where the young Icelanders like to cruise with their
ridiculously huge 4-wheel drive trucks, up and down the street.
Here, in the busiest part of Iceland, a mother might park her
baby and go eat downstairs at a café and leave the baby alone for
an hour or more. There are plenty of people walking by.
Icelanders like to drink heavily, and there are plenty of drunken
fishermen walking about, but they would not harm these babies.
They are a part of a larger family, a folk. This is their home
and these are the babies of their nation and they are perfectly
safe.

When the babies in Iceland grow a bit and can walk, then the
national practice is to push them out the door in the morning,
similar to cats going out at night. The little toddlers then form
into packs of mischievous rug-rats and do anything they can find
to do. There might be 30, average age of five, without any child
older than seven, all standing in the middle of the main road. In
American this would cause a national sensation and parents would
go to jail for such abuse. But, in this folkish nation, the
Icelanders have been raised to look out for these roaming packs
of wild towheads and they slow down their cars. They might honk
the horn at them, just as they do with sheep. These kids will
give way and carry on. This isn't in a small village of 50
people, but in a city of 150,000. And yet these children are
safe.

This extends into the Icelandic cultural tradition of the hot
tubs. All over Iceland they have hot tubs because of the
geothermal conditions on the island. In the capital there are
about seven large water parks that cost about $2 to enter. These
can have a few hundred to a few thousand people a day, everyday,
year round at them. People all ages frequent these places
together. This brings up another important point, which we will
discuss later on these ADV shows, that is the topic of the "age
gap." In America the Jews use the age gap as a tool to divide and
conquer us. In a folk nation, an age gap is just a few awkward
years, part of growing up, but has now socially corrosive
elements to it. And in the best Icelandic tradition, these people
are so at peace with one another. This isn't to say that
Icelanders don't gossip or form cliques, as they certainly do.
But any such conflict is on a personal basis, which doesn't
affect the folk. The hot-tubing tradition in Iceland is part of
their national character, part of their folk. It's a place for
these people to come together, to be with one another, and be
perfectly at ease.

Now Iceland is really the last place that I would like to use as
an example of a better world for the White race. It is a cold,
remote, windswept island, with very few natural resources. Their
food is horrible and their cultural and technical contributions
to the rest of the White race are minimal, aside from the Sagas.
But, it is their isolation that has kept them away from the
damage that now threatens them. And they currently are an example
of the national cohesiveness of a folkish nation.

Now in America, when people get old, many of these people will
end up in an old-folks-home. Originally these types of homes were
created for comfort and companionship. But, with the folkish
element removed from our society, the national compassion becomes
void. I have heard the worst horror stories from people who are
stuck in a prison-like atmosphere in our nation's old-folk-homes.
This is a national disgrace. This is a racial disgrace. Our
politicians care more about the welfare of convicts and illegal
Mexicans than they do for our old people in convalescence homes.
These old people are sometimes treated as less than living
beings. And many of them have children that are perfectly capable
of caring for them, but won't.

These millions of Americans that abandon their parents to these
old-folks-homes don't hate their parents, but they themselves are
also victims. They are social victims from what happens to a
people that lose their folkishness. They see no dishonor at
allowing their parents to waste away in these loveless places.
They are too busy paying bills; buying more "stuff" that they
will throw away in a few years to see that they are living their
lives wrong. The media masters, which is just a polite way of
saying "Jews," have turned our race into a divided, squabbling
pack of consumers. Materialism is the absolute inverse of
folkishness.

I'm not saying that every old-folks-home is a bad place. But for
a nation to condemn such a large percentage of our elderly to
such poor conditions -- to just be abandoned in a place until
they die -- is so wrong.

The National Alliance doesn't just promote the rebirth of the
folk in every White nation because a folk nation is racially
homogeneous. The National Alliance doesn't just promote a folk
consciousness because it is a natural progression of racial
understanding. The National Alliance doesn't just promote the
folk because we want less crime and better living conditions for
our race. No, the National Alliance does promote the folk for
these reasons and others, but mainly for the following very
important reason.

A folk nation is the most highly evolved social achievement that
a people can have. It is the most beneficial existence that the
White race can have. One required element for a folk nation is
that only White people live in our country. Another requirement
is that we must remove all the alien influences that the Jews
force-feed our race daily. But, even if these two elements were
removed -- the alien people and the alien anti-culture -- we
would still have a great task ahead of us. The National
Alliance's long term goal is to bring our society up to the level
of folk nation. And each White nation must strive towards this
path. It is the path of improvement and towards greatness. And,
each ethnicity within our great White race are all a part of a
fragmented folk. This fragmentation has existed for a long time.
It started, maybe, during the time of the Industrial Revolution.
But, it certainly has existed since 1914, when the White nations
committed racial suicide and launched this Jewish Era, and all
White nations have suffered.

Some White nationalities have died off in this Jewish era. There
are no more White Rhodesians, even though this nationality had
the highest average IQ scores of any nation. But, aside from the
death of a White nation, such as Rhodesia, the other White
nations are being bled of their existence too.

Germany is a perfect example of this. In the western part of
Germany, the area that had great material advantages, but where
their folkishness has been outlawed for 60 years now, they are a
people unraveling. In the eastern part of Germany, where their
material excesses are far less, where they were dominated under
the yoke of Communism for 45 years, in this region of Germany,
the German folk is alive. These people are real Germans and they
are happy and healthy. Their unemployment is through the roof,
but as long as the blood stays pure, the folk will always
recover. The poison in Germany isn't in the foolish ideology of
communism. That age has ended. The poison in Germany as well as
the rest of Western Europe is the Americanization and
materialism. This, of course, is just a polite way of saying
"those damn Jews." 

But the only reason that the Jews can rule over our race as
thoroughly as they do is because of our baseless, folk-less
conditions. In us all, we've evolved with a highly-developed
sense of self and non-self. We as a race think the same thoughts,
we have the same images in our dreams, and experience the same
emotions as our other racial kith and kin. This folk isn't an
abstraction like some Communist babble of the dialectic, but
rather is part of our innate biology.

It is of interest that the Slavic countries that were so
completely dominated by communists resisted the destructive
influences and have emerged as the most folkish of all the White
nations.

In these countries old people have simple jobs that they perform.
This isn't a meaningless task to degrade them, but rather it
gives them purpose and they are respected by their countrymen. We
all have to have a purpose in our lives. We have to contribute to
our people or we degenerate into a selfish mob. The Slavic
nations may have economies that appear backward and the work
ethic after so many years of communism is problematic, but their
ability to interact and their cohesiveness is something that we
in the Western countries can only look at as outsiders. The way
that ten million Russians use the Moscow subways in amazing. It
could never occur with such efficiency and ease in America. They
are so much more of a folk; a unified people. They have calmness
with their citizens and sense of belonging to them.

In contrast, in America, it is somewhat annoying to use our mass
transit systems and in some cases it's outright dangerous. How
often does a lone White woman use the subway in New York at
night? In Moscow, the biggest city in Russia, it is completely
safe. I think a Russian would understand the Icelanders leaving
their babies parked on the sidewalk without fear much better than
a California native can.

The remote country of Iceland and the Slavic nations are much
more spiritually healthy than we are in America. They are more in
tune with nature and they have the intra-group feelings that are
needed for a nation's health. As a side note, there is a
fascinating book called "Imperium" that discusses the contrast
between the spiritual health of the communist East and the
capitalist West. This book was written some 40 years ago and its
predictions ring true. This book "Imperium" is available though
National Vanguard Books if any of you are interested in

For our people, our race, to be happy and sound, we have to stay
in tune with our biological nature.

The National Alliance is nature-based and what Mother Nature has
embedded in our DNA is what works best for our race. Instead of
forcing our people to mix with alien races and pollute our minds
with gangster rap, we believe in a serious examination of what
we, as biological organisms, require to prosper. With this
information, our goals for the future for our race are defined.
Folkishness is our path because we have evolved with our folk and
it is part of who we are. It is part of our psychological makeup;
from our racial Wotan archetype for leadership to our compassion
for our sick. The folk is just a much of part of our biology as
are the innate forces that drive bees to form hives and that
makes wolves form packs.

A folk is greater than anyone of us and when each and every one
of us become reasonably schooled in folkish understanding, then
we, as a group, a small percentage of our race in the beginning,
start to reawaken these collective feelings of racial identity
and purpose. Then we will begin to take back control of our
countries, our lives, and our destiny.

In this regard, the racial health for White people is perfectly
juxtaposed to the goals of the Jews. In this is a difficulty, as
the Jews are masters of deception. And, in this Jewish era, our
enemies have many tricks for causing disunity and discord within
our ranks. These Jews know that for them to maintain control over
us, they must keep us divided and quarreling amongst ourselves.
They are good at doing this, but we need discipline and we must
stay focused on who are enemies are. Our enemies are not fellow
White Nationalists that we find ourselves in disagreement with on
occasion. Our enemies are not racially conscious Whites that
believe a slightly different path should be taken. Our enemies
are those outside of our unique biological inheritance and those
White traitors in the seats of power whose minds are so polluted
that they can't even feel love for their own kind anymore.

Our future, the future for our White race, will be one in which
we understand our biological needs and embrace them. A folk is a
part of us and, when we regain our racial health, we each are
collectively a part of our folk. This is the way we are designed
to be. This is the way we will create a better world for our
people. This is the goal of the National Alliance. And the sooner
we all join together, the sooner our Racial Renaissance begins.
