Last week I talked about how we can build a better society for White people in an all-White nation. I would like to expand upon the topic of a better society by discussing the important subject of welfare. Before I begin, I would like to say that the issue of welfare must always remain one of an ideological philosophy. When welfare is considered by anyone to be an economic issue, then they have already drifted so far off course as to not understand the bigger picture that must be understood. Welfare application is an important facet of our racial philosophy and this needs to be clearly stated. But please, keep in mind, welfare is never an issue of dollars and cents, but rather it is always an issue for the long-term health of our race.
It seems that every week we receive letters and e-mails at the National Office where someone is angry at all the non-Whites on welfare. And these people should be angry over this massive, criminal fraud being perpetrated against White people in America and virtually every other White nation in the West. We have all heard about the billions and billions of dollars being wasted every year on non-White welfare, but in fact there are actually numerically more Whites on welfare than non-Whites. But, this is very misleading. Even though Whites are just a bit more than half of the people on some form of public assistance, the non-Whites do receive the majority of the actual money paid out. Also, when we take into consideration that Whites make up about 67% of America, then we see that White people form, by far, the lowest rate of welfare in comparison.
With this said, the way to fix this matter is two-fold. Firstly, the non-Whites need to be removed from our living space. No matter how events change, from now to forever, the fact will remain, that non-Whites cannot live in our living space. This is an absolutely uncompromisable needed goal for the White race. So, when our White nation is being restored, any non-Whites on welfare will be removed from our country. It is a very simple matter to fix. The non-White leadership can deal with their own people in any fashion that they want to. The non-White's successes and hardships are outside of the realm of our responsibility and interest.
Secondly, what about all the White people on welfare? In our ideal White world, what should happen to White people on welfare? What should happen to welfare programs?
The fact is, White people invented welfare in ancient times for good reasons and bad reasons. The good reasons that governments created welfare were usually as a method of rewarding the very best of our people for great deeds. For example, a family or spouse of a man that died in battle would often be taken care of by the wealthy, ruling families. This may sound like a simple matter of a hardship, in which the government picks up the tab, but this is basically what all welfare is, or at least is supposed to be. This, though, is not really what most people today think of when they talk about welfare.
The worst reason that ancient nations created welfare programs were as a means to offset all the corruption that was grafted on the public funds by the highly-corrupt public officials in ancient times. To offset this graft, a different form of public waste was invented. These acts of public kindness are really not kind, but usually a ploy by a politician to gain support, or in the case of the American democracy, to win votes or favors.
It has been said and written many times that a democracy fails to behave as a democracy the moment the public realizes that through the instrument of governmental authority, the income of the state, which are the tax dollars, can be awarded to any given group. At that point, special interest groups are formed, corruption in public office is greatly expanded upon, and the democratic process fails to be a tool for the nation, and is replaced by a form of government similar to what we have in Washington, D.C.
The ancient Greeks, who are accredited with inventing democracy, understood this inherent flaw and said that a democracy could not exist anywhere where the population grew too large. The Greeks put a ceiling on the size of a democracy at 50,000 people. There never was a Greek city-state that had a population of voting citizens of that size, though. And because of this, there were some Greeks who were doubtful it could be that large and still serve the same purpose. But, these two topics, state-sponsored welfare programs and political corruption, will always be linked. And, this is one of the biggest shortcomings with democracy. This is because democracy requires votes to gain control of the government, which also then gains control over the tax-dollars. So, the temptation of giving financial rewards to those that help a person get elected, through payments using tax dollars, is really quite inevitable.
With this said, let's look at a few welfare programs. The most typical form of state assistance comes from programs that are really just insurances we pay into. The most common are unemployment insurance and medical insurance. While we are working, we pay into these programs. These programs are fair in principle, but can be reformed in a variety of ways. The overall concept of welfare isn't a negative factor against our race. However, the same concept is used for providing long-term public assistance today. This is very different.
The people who are permanently unemployed and receiving welfare checks are, in theory, just people that have paid into a state program and are currently without a job, so they are collecting their benefits that have paid into. But, here is the problem. The lower stock of any nation will always be work shy. Good work ethics have a genetic basis to them. Poor work ethics are also genetically based. So, the group of people that will gravitate towards living on welfare are really the people that won't pay into that type of program to any degree. So, just like Negroes, Hispanics, Indians, and Asians today are the ones that thoroughly abuse welfare, they are also not the ones who pay into welfare. With these groups taking out billions of dollars more a month than they will every pay into the system, they are simply a drain on the hard work of the productive people in society.
With such a system in place, this only rewards sloth and fraud. This in itself is a formula for social deterioration. Such a system will encourage the laziest element in society to sponge off the hard work of others. And, what happens to these people who are not working? Well, they usually degenerate even further. Most will lead an unhealthy lifestyle. Without any job commitments, most will become even less responsible and try to fulfill their time with the pursuit of entertainment. Most will watch TV and accomplish nothing positive. Drug and alcohol abuse becomes common. To maintain their welfare income, any money earned must be hidden from the government, so this encourages a black market economy within these circles.
Before I go on, we need to ask two questions: What was the original purpose for starting the current welfare system, and what has been the result?
Prior to the government taking up the role of as a social welfare provider, it had been done by private charities and religious groups. In a bid to win over votes, the more corrupt politicians took up the platform of creating state sponsored welfare. This was a hotly debated issue back in the 1800s. The US government wouldn't even pay money to the spouses of those who died in war, in the service of the nation. That was believed to set a bad precedence. Why should other people have their money taken from them by the government, so the grieving widow could have their money? It was believed then, both were wrong, and two wrongs don't make a right.
When America started to move into the welfare mode, this was mostly a reaction from the various Socialist groups' demands, who were trying to organize labor. The politician who wanted the vote from organized labor took up welfare programs into their political platform and, before you knew it, the state and federal government were entangled in the business of providing welfare. With the massive inefficiency that only big government is capable of creating in a democracy, we have the current situation.
What were the stated goals, once welfare programs were implemented? Well, they were going to end crime, because of the very erroneous belief that poverty caused crime. This can easily be disproved. The twenty poorest counties in America are almost all White. The top five of these are in the state of Montana. The county I currently live in, and the surrounding counties here in West Virginia, are almost as poor. But, these counties all almost entirely White and have the lowest crime rate in America. So, the stated goal of ending, or lowering crime, never happened, it actually increased many fold.
Another goal of welfare was to provide for those few, poor, broken-up families. Divorce and separation were very rare, but when it happened, some of the women ended up in poverty, just barely scraping by. Since welfare was created and expanded, the rate of divorce and separation has gone through the roof and the percentage of single parent families has increased dramatically. So, again, welfare didn't help there.
Yet, of all the welfare programs, the one that is most praised as being a great success is the food stamps program. Since food stamps were created, starvation and hunger related illnesses have dropped off to almost nothing. And, this is true. But, from an ideological point of view, the current food stamps program is bad. And this is why.
When people join the military, they don't make a lot of money, but have their entire lives controlled by the government. This is social sacrifice and is necessary for the nation to maintain a military. But, why do we pay people on welfare more than people in the military, so they can sit around the house and do nothing? On top of that, the government pays high-paying wages to government workers. America has an endless supply of public projects. We pay $25 an hour for highway workers to divert traffic, then turn around and pay $6 an hour for welfare recipients to stay at home and watch TV. This is stupid. We could easily require all persons on welfare to do work, to get paid. America's cities have never been more run down, and yet we pay millions of people to do nothing. And this same government will only pay top wages to their own employees. Why? In the private sector, jobs are lost to cheaper wages all the time. This is called, staying competitive.
So, with a labor pool potential as high as it is, why does the government only supply work and high wages to some and low pay and no work to others? On top of this, huge governmental contracts are awarded to private firms to hire others to do work for the government, who will get high wages. Not only does this hurt the society by overtaxation of the most productive element in society, it inherently increases corruption within government.
If government welfare payments to unproductive people were ended and the government only provided low paying jobs, such as for highway projects, the amount of workers would expand and the amount of work increased. Tax dollars are not supposed to make civilian employees rich. Everyone understands the low pay for the military and they would also understand low pay for all government employees. This would act as all the social safety net a nation needs. More would be done for less and taxes reduced.
But, what I had stated from the beginning of this program was that welfare was not an economic issue. And, it isn't.
We are all a part of our living race; our ancestor's genetic line, formed into various societies. We have only one life to live and then pass on our genes to the next generation. Within this overall gene pool there are good elements and bad elements. To progress, that is, to improve the gene pool a little bit each generation, is a needed, healthy social goal and this should be a purpose of government. The leadership of our race must always maintain the goal for racial improvement.
Welfare, in this regard, only serves to highlight the worst stock of our people. This isn't to say that everyone on welfare is of bad stock, but from a bigger picture, the habitually welfare dependent people are of the bottom end of our gene pool. Also, they tend to have larger families, as they have lots of free time and are even financially rewarded by higher welfare payments for the more children they have.
At the other end of the spectrum, the productive end of society, the married couples there are forced to work two jobs. They are taxed to death to maintain the payments to the welfare bums. These productive types then have fewer children. So, in the end, welfare only creates more social problems and has a biologically dysgenic effect on the race.
This is the harsh reality of the cause and effect of welfare. When Senator Ted Kennedy is preaching about how we need to raise taxes to help raise the standards of America's poor, he isn't helping anyone. What this really does is it lowers the genetic quality of the overall stock of our race in the subsequent generations. And this is very bad.
If there is one thing that I would like for you, the listeners of this show to come away with from today's program, it is this: A good White government's highest obligation is for the safeguarding and betterment of the White race. This must be first and foremost in the minds of the leadership of those that make laws. Before any law is passed, and any taxes raised, before any existing law is enforced, the leadership must think: Is this good for the White race? Only when the answer is "yes," should it be allowed.
State sponsored, low-paying jobs can absorb all the unemployed. We don't need to give anyone food stamps when they are not working, but rather we need to give them a job that they can earn their keep. Since these would be government jobs, the wages need to be fixed at a low rate, similar to the military, to encourage people to do better with their life. It is immoral and socially harmful to pay people to sit at home and watch TV. There will always be more work to be done, than can be done. Lack of work is never a problem. Bad leadership and lack of vision are almost always the cause of society's problems.
There also needs to be a safety net in society to help increase the birthrate for the best of our people and to discourage the worst from having children. This can be done very humanely and on a volunteer basis, with cash benefits for those that take part. This brings up the topic of eugenics, which is the intentional act of improving the biological stock of our race.
There are many misconceptions about the topic of eugenics and I'll cover that is another ADV. It is an important topic and must be understood to gain a clearer vision for improvement for our people. The field of eugenics is linked to welfare in that both are social obligations for our nation, but only when it is helpful. And all White Nationalists should understand that social programs like welfare are not philosophically wrong.
Currently we live in the corrupt Jewish era in which almost all social institutions are mutated into becoming harmful towards the White race. So, it is healthy to hate the present day system and those responsible for maintaining it. But, we must not throw the baby out with the bathwater. The White race will always need to care for the people of our race. Social safety nets, by White people and specifically for White people, can and will help our race. But, it will be very, very different from what we currently have today. Welfare programs must only exist to benefit the White race. All others must be abolished. This won't happen today, but only after the revolution. Join with us, the National Alliance, and let's create that revolution.
